Terms of Service
Last updated 30 August 2026
These terms govern your use of ClientVault, operated by Abdullah Abdul Jalil Munshi. By creating an account you agree to them.
The service
ClientVault lets accountants and bookkeepers request documents from their clients, collect them through a branded portal, and send automatic reminders. We provide the software; you remain responsible for what you collect and how you use it.
Your account
- You must give accurate details and keep your password secure
- You are responsible for everything done under your account
- One account is for one firm — do not share logins across separate businesses
- You must be old enough to enter a contract in your jurisdiction
Your clients' documents
You decide what to request from your clients and you are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect it. You confirm that you will handle the documents you receive in line with your own professional and data protection obligations. We act on your instructions as a processor and do not use uploaded material for any purpose other than providing the service.
Acceptable use
You may not use ClientVault to:
- Collect documents you have no right to request
- Send unsolicited or deceptive messages
- Upload malware, or anything unlawful
- Attempt to access another firm's workspace or documents
- Resell the service without a written agreement with us
We may suspend an account that breaches this, and will tell you why.
Plans and payment
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Paddle, who act as merchant of record. Prices are shown on our pricing page and may change with 30 days' notice to existing customers. Plan limits — such as the number of clients — are enforced by the software.
A free plan is available. We may change what it includes, but we will not delete your existing data if you exceed a limit; you will simply be asked to upgrade before adding more.
Cancellation
You can cancel at any time from your account. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, then reverts to the free plan. Your clients and documents are not deleted when you downgrade. See our refund policy for refunds.
Availability
We work to keep the service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may take it down for maintenance, and will give notice where we reasonably can.
Your data is yours
You keep all rights to the documents and information in your workspace. You can export or delete them at any time. We claim no ownership over them.
Liability
The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost data, beyond that amount. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Keep your own copies. ClientVault is a collection tool, not an archive of record. Do not rely on it as your only copy of a client document.
Ending the agreement
You may close your account at any time. We may end it if you materially breach these terms, or with 30 days' notice if we discontinue the service — in which case we will refund any period already paid for and give you time to export your data.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kuwait.
